Friday, July 4th, 2008: Reds Hopper Smacks 5 Hits!
It was a parade of hits for Norris Hopper of the Cincinnati Reds...one right after another...a total of 5 for the day. He ravaged the Cleveland Indians for 5 hits in his 6 at-bats and propelled the Reds to a 13-4 victory.

"Hopper was really good and we were really bad," groaned the Indians manager. "Next time he's that hot, we'll just walk him."

N. Hopper singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, tripled in the 6th, hit a three-run home run off A. Fultz in the 7th and struck out in the 8th.

So far in 2008 Hopper is hitting .365 with 4 home runs, 28 RBIs and 66 runs scored. He has 123 hits and played in 78 games.
