"The bottom line was I just kept the ball down," Maine said. "My breaking stuff was down. Everything was down."
Talking to reporters in the postgame interview, the New York (N) skipper said, "We got solid pitching, good defense and we took great team at-bats in a lot of different situations. This was just a solid performance by everyone."

"He just worked us over," the New York (N) skipper said. "He probably didn't even take a shower after the game. I don't think he even worked up a sweat. They could probably pitch him again tomorrow."
In the 4-0 victory Hamels whiffed 8 and gave up 1 walk.
