What's in a number? In baseball, just about everything.
The numbers that Milwaukee's Corey Hart stacked up last week were the envy of the league, as Hart came away with National League Player of the Week honors.
He belted out 11 hits in 19 at-bats, 3 home runs and 6 RBIs last week as he posted his .579 batting average.
For 2008 Hart is batting .314 with 16 home runs, 56 RBIs and 59 runs scored.

 | Saturday, July 19th, 2008: Haren Guns Down Brewers
It was a razor-sharp performance by Dan Haren of the Arizona Diamondbacks against the Milwaukee Brewers. He fashioned a fine 1-hitter in blanking them 1-0 and chalked up 10 strikeouts and no walks.
Currently Haren has a 4-7 won-lost record in 19 starts with a 3.48 ERA. He also has 107 strikeouts in 126.2 innings.

| Monday, July 14th, 2008: National League Hitter of the Week
The National League made it official today: Ryan Braun is the Player of the Week.
He really stood out on the diamond this week with a .522 average to take home the award. The Milwaukee third baseman went 12-23, drove in 6 runs, scored 6 times and hit 3 home runs.
This season Braun is batting .369 with 128 hits and 32 home runs. He has scored 74 times and has 88 RBI.
