| Breaking News | | Saturday, May 10th, 2008: 5-5 Day for Wilson
It's not something you read in the sports pages everyday -- a 5-for-5 day. It may only come around once in a career -- a lot of players never have one -- but Bobby Wilson got one today. He scattered hits all over Community Field to pace Salt Lake City to a 4-3 victory over Tacoma.
The Tacoma skipper told reporters in the press room, "Tip your hat to him. He hit some good pitches. According to the scouting report, Wilson hit several that he is not supposed to hit."
B. Wilson singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
In his stats this season, Wilson has posted a batting average of .394 with 13 hits in 33 at-bats, 2 home runs and 5 RBIs. He has also scored 4 runs, walked 1 times and compiled a .400 OBP.
