| Breaking News |  | Saturday, June 28th, 2008: Nolasco Hurls Albuquerque to Shutout Win
Ricky Nolasco of the Albuquerque Isotopes mixed his pitches well and fashioned a 4-0 shutout today. The 25-year-old hurler shut down the Round Rock offense, holding them to 4 hits. He struck out 4 while walking 1.
Currently Nolasco has a record of 7-4 with 80 strikeouts and 19 walks in 105.2 innings and a 3.15 ERA.

| Monday, June 23rd, 2008: Ouch! Brandon Morrow Shelved by Injury
The Express received bad news this morning. Brandon Morrow will miss 6 weeks due to a hyperextended elbow. In the Round Rock-Omaha game he sustained the injury while throwing a pitch. "I'm disappointed more than anything," he told reporters later in the day. "You can't help your team on the bench," Morrow sighed. "I'll do the rehab work and hope for a quick recovery."
Up to now Morrow has recorded a record of 6-1. In 13 starts he has fanned 93 batters in 67 innings with a 2.28 ERA.
