 | Saturday, August 16th, 2008: Bad News for Houston, Pence Hurt After the end of today's game between Houston and San Diego, Hunter Pence skipped the clubhouse and headed straight for the doctor's office. After he was removed from the game as a precaution after colliding with a player at a base, the Astros had their worst fears confirmed when it turned out to be more serious. The center fielder will miss at least one week with a fractured finger. This year Pence has hit 19 home runs and posted a .281 batting average. |
